These guidelines apply to business, service, rental, job, event, marketplace, and organization listings submitted to NepTown. Their purpose is to keep local information useful and reduce misleading or unauthorized listings.
Who can submit a listing
- The owner or authorized representative of the business or organization.
- An employee or agent with permission to publish the information.
- A landlord, property owner, or authorized rental agent.
- An event organizer or a person authorized to represent the event.
- A seller or service provider for marketplace listings they are entitled to offer.
By submitting a listing, you confirm that you have permission to publish the information and images included in it.
Required information
- A clear business, property, job, event, or listing name.
- The correct category and a factual description.
- An accurate location or service area. NepTown focuses on Lahan and nearby areas.
- Working contact details that you are authorized to publish.
- Current prices, fees, hours, dates, or availability where relevant.
- Images you own or have permission to use.
Incomplete or inconsistent submissions may be rejected or returned for clarification.
Accuracy and updates
Listings should be kept up to date. Update or ask us to remove a listing when details change, the business closes, a property is rented, a job is filled, or an event is cancelled. Do not leave outdated prices, vacancies, or contact details on the site.
Prohibited listings
- False, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Listings for illegal products or services.
- Impersonation of another business, person, or government office.
- Unauthorized use of another business's name, logo, photos, or contact details.
- Duplicate listings intended to dominate search results.
- Listings that collect sensitive information without a legitimate need.
- Content that violates our Community Guidelines.
Photos and logos
Use clear images that accurately represent the business, property, product, or event. Do not use stock images in a way that suggests they show the actual premises or item. Do not remove watermarks or use images without permission. We may crop or resize images for display.
Reviews and ratings
Reviews should come from genuine experiences. Business owners must not write or coordinate fake reviews, offer incentives for positive reviews without disclosure, or harass reviewers. We may remove reviews that violate our guidelines. A review is not a guarantee of a business's quality or safety.
Moderation and removal
We may review, edit, reject, or remove a listing at any time, including when it is inaccurate, expired, duplicated, unauthorized, or inconsistent with these guidelines. Publication does not mean that NepTown endorses the listing or has independently verified every claim. We do not guarantee a particular ranking, placement, or response time.
Report a problem
If you believe a listing is fake, unauthorized, misleading, or infringes your rights, use the abuse report form and include the listing URL. Business owners can also contact us to correct or remove their own listing.
