Using NepTown
What is NepTown?
NepTown is a local information platform focused on Lahan and nearby communities. It includes directories, news and notices, events, jobs, rentals, marketplace listings, and community discussions.
Is NepTown free to use?
Browsing NepTown is free. Creating an account and making standard submissions does not currently require payment. Any paid promotion or sponsored placement will be identified as such.
Do I need an account?
Most pages can be viewed without an account. You need to sign in for features such as posting in the community, applying for a job, managing certain listings, or accessing your profile and notifications.
How do I create an account?
Use the registration page and provide your name, email address, and the requested details. NepTown sends a one-time verification code by email. Enter the code to complete sign-up. You must be at least 13 years old.
I did not receive my verification code. What should I do?
Check your spam or promotions folder and confirm that you entered the correct email address. You can request a new code after the resend cooldown. If it still does not arrive, contact us through the contact form.
How do I reset my password?
Use the password reset page. If you are already signed in, you can also change your password from your profile settings.
Listings and content
How do I submit a business, rental, job, event, or marketplace listing?
Use the submission form in the relevant section where available. If you cannot find the right form, contact us with the listing details and the section it belongs to. Submissions may be reviewed before publication.
How do I update or remove a listing?
If you have an account with access to the listing, use the available management controls. Otherwise, contact us with the listing URL and the change you need. We may ask you to confirm that you are authorized to manage the listing. See our Business Listing Guidelines.
Does NepTown verify every listing?
Some submissions go through review, but NepTown does not independently verify every claim, price, vacancy, or credential. Always confirm important details directly with the business, employer, landlord, or organizer before making a payment or commitment.
How do I report a fake listing, scam, or abusive content?
Use the abuse report form. Include the content URL, the reason, and what happened. For community posts and replies, use the report option on the content if it is available.
Can I choose a different city?
NepTown currently focuses on Lahan and nearby communities. It does not offer a site-wide city-selection experience for every section. Some listings may include a city or location field, but the available content and features are primarily local to the Lahan area.
Ads, privacy, and contact
Why do I see Google ads on NepTown?

How can I advertise on NepTown?
